Abstract Human nature is something of a taboo on the left wing contemporary political theory and scarcely more than commonsense assumption its right wing. This article aims to expose challenge assumption. There no way, we argue, defeat conservative without delving into anthropology. With this purpose in mind, our analyses writings Marx Engels, Simondon’s concepts transindividual technics. It shows that technics allows new interpretations many themes scattered Marx’s Engels’s works helps formulate materialist anthropology which entails project liberating ‘human nature’ from labour.
